It’s no secret that the cold war between Lil Wayne and Birdman rages on.
Back in January it seemed a truce was on the way more than year after Lil Wayne launched a Twitter tirade against Birdman and Cash Money for delaying Tha Carter V. Since then, tensions have escalated into multi million-dollar lawsuits, bottle and even an alleged murder plot.
Well on Saturday (Sept 3), it seemed as if Wayne was announcing that he was putting down his mic from what seems to be a never ending saga. But it seems friends and fans a like are not having it.
Chance the Rapper quickly took to Twitter to respond: “Dear @LilTunechi I just wanna remind you that absolutely nothing and no one in this world can defeat you. Tell them devils back back.”
Drake also responded with a IG post shown below.
Whether Wayne puts down his mic or not, it seems his thoughts on Cash Money are unwavering. The NO rapper told a Houston crowd at Drake’s Summer Sixteen tour how he really felt. “F-ck Cash Money!”
