Netflix is set slated to Spike Lee’s new Rodney King film on April 28th. The one-man show stars Roger Guenveur Smith as he takes viewers back to the 1991 police beating of Rodney and the 1992 Los Angeles riots.
The date of release will coincide with the upcoming 25th Anniversary of the state court acquittals of officer Stacey Koon and three other LAPD officers who were videotaped striking Rodney.
