Jay Z Makes History And Honors Emcees That Have Inspired Along the Way

Yesterday (June 15), Jay Z became the first rapper to be inducted in the Songwriters Hall of Fame alongside lengends Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. While he was able to make the actual ceremony due to the pending birth of his twins, that didn’t stop him from his speech. He took to twitter to shout out those who have inspired him along the way.
