After landing a surprising deal with Capitol Music Group’s subsidiary Caroline said to be in the neighborhood of $6 million, xxxTentacion seems to have had a change of heart.
On IG, he wrote, “Terminating my deal with ‘capitol records,…I am not a ‘signed’ artist and I will not be releasing music for a very long time, I’m tired of this shit.”
No word on what caused the change or how Capitol Music is viewing this change. He is however still facing aggravated battery, assault, false imprisonment and witness tampering charges stemming from an incident with his at-the-time pregnant girlfriend in 2016. A trial is set to begin on that case on December 11.
