After a six month stint in prison, Meek Mill was released from prison on Tuesday evening (Apr. 25) following a ruling from the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
While there was an outpouring of welcomes, the didn’t distract Meek from the business at hand. He sat down with NBC Nightly News’ Lester Holt for an upcoming special for Dateline NBC. In it, Meek discusses the responsibility he now carries to fight for others and spread awareness to criminal justice reform.
