Drake has announced that he’s building a recording studio in a Philadelphia High School in celebration of the school’s dramatic drop in crime. Hoping to push the students to invest wisely in their futures, the Drizzy plans to give this token of both appreciation and inspiration to Philly’s Strawberry Mansion High School.
“In the next few months, I’m building a recording studio inside your school,” Drake says to an audience in the clip. “This is about you, this is about your principal, this is about your future. I love you, I care about you, and I want to see you succeed.”
Aside from the new studio that the school will soon receive, Drake also gifted the students with tickets and transportation to the December 18th “Would You Like A Tour” show at Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center.
Wow … you know even I’m guilty of really hammering Drizzy for his quirky ways. But, this kid is really doing success right. He’s got his people w/ him. He’s gives back. He has fun. He works hard. Kudos to him.
