Rapper Nas will be the honoree at Vibe magazine’s second annual Impact Awards. The pre-Grammy, invitation-only gala will be held Jan. 24 at a private location in downtown Los Angeles. Additional details will be announced closer to the gala date.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of Nas’ debut album “Illmatic.” Vibe’s Impact Awards salute entertainers whose achievements have changed pop culture.
Last year’s inaugural gala, held at the Sunset Tower in West Hollywood, celebrated Vibe’s 20th anniversary and the career of honoree Mary J. Blige.
