Wow … say it ain’t so. Bobbi Kristina has married Nick Gordon. Yep the same one that was introduced as her “God brother.”
News broke when the 20-year-old took to Twitter to share a photo of the duo’s wedding bands on Thursday.
“@nickdgordon #HappilyMarried SO#Inlove if you didn’t get it the first time that is,” she captioned the pic of the couple’s hands.
Whitney Houston allegedly took Nick in after learning his biological mother could not care for him. The singer reportedly raised him alongside her daughter. Although Houston never legally adopted him, he was “like a son to her,” the late star’s brother, Michael Houston, told ABC News.
This brother/sister relationship has of course raised brows. In July, after their engagement, she wrote a Facebook post calling out critics.
“I’m tired of hearing people say ‘eww your engaged to your brother or if Whitney was still alive would we be together or would she approve of this,'” she said. “Let me clear up something, we aren’t even real brother and sister nor is he my adoptive brother. My mom never adopted him. In fact, mommy was the one who even said that she knew that we were going to start dating.”
SMH. What about getting an education, pursing a career, even traveling the world. Anything …. besides being laid up smoking/ drinking. Wonder what Bobby thinks of this.
