After quite a few false dates, Lil Boosie is finally a free man!
The rapper was just released from a Louisiana State Penitentiary where he’s been locked up since 2009 on drug charges.
Boosie, real name Torrence Hatch, was intitially locked up on a marijuana charge in ’09, but during his stay, he was busted for attempting to smuggle drugs into prison. This caused a judge to tack on another 8 years to his original 4 year sentence.
But Boosie caught a break and has been released early. A rep for the penitentiary has told the media Boosie will be on parole until 2018. Yikes! He has 4 years to walk the line. Well at least he’s free.
Look for a press conference to be held from Boosie on Monday.
