Sean Kingston was recently detained by police and told that he couldn’t leave the Dominican Republic due to an unpaid $8K tab.
It seems Sean had a miscommunication with the managers at a local club. He thought the tab was complementary but the club’s owners did in fact want Sean to pay up on the $8,771 tab.
He then
left the club not leaving a dime to cover the bill.
In turn, the club’s owner called the cops and authorities later tracked Sean down telling he couldn’t leave the country until the tab was compensated. Immediately realizing his mistake, Sean payed up and was extremely apolgetic about the whole ordeal.
