The Clipse Call A Quits

clipseSurprised or nah? The Clipse have officially called a quits.

Despite promises of more music at the beginning of the year, No Malice has confirmed that it will not be happening. (Did we know that Malice had actually changed his name to “No Malice” and started making Christian music? I suppose I’m late.)

“People have been asking me about this Clipse album.

I’ve been very clear and very consistent from the beginning. I don’t know why I have to keep answering this question. I don’t do that music anymore,” he confirmed to RapZilla in an interview during SXSW.

He went on to say he feels like doing secular music would be a step back in his life. “Do people want me to keep repeating my past life? What I would like to think is my audience who grew up with me are still growing up. I can’t cater to every generation that comes up under it’s like repeating third grade over and over again. No, I’m somewhere else now. I am not doing another Clipse album.”

Watch the interview below. (Yikes.  He sounds a little bothered.)
