Good news. Spike Lee’s classic 1985 debut movie She’s Gotta Have It might be coming to TV!
Deadline reports that the classic is in talks with Showtime to adapt the feature for a half-hour series. The project will focus on Lee’s “contemporary look at the characters,” and views on gentrification in Brooklyn, race, sexuality, and gender.
No word yet on when the Spike Lee joint will air on television.
