The Dream Arrested for Alleged Assault

ZAEH_DREAM_SHOT04-48goldThe Dream was charged with assault Wednesday after cops said he attacked his pregnant girlfriend in 2012 and threatened to “kill her like O.J.”

The-Dream, 36, surrendered to cops Wednesday — two years after cops say he punched and choked eight-months pregnant gal pal Lydia Nam.

Lydia, 29, was carrying Dream’s fifth child — their first together — at the time of the alleged April 4, 2012, assault in the Plaza Hotel.

She didn’t report the attack until this past November because she feared for her life, cops said.
According to the criminal complaint, Dream pulled and dragged her by her hair, choked her with a necklace she was wearing by twisting it tightly around her neck, kicked and punched her in the head and then grabbed her by the neck, pinning her to the wall and choking her again.

When Lydia tried to call 911 on her cell, he allegedly twisted her arm and said he would kill her “like O.J. Simpson killed Nicole Brown,” the complaint said.

The-Dream was arraigned Wednesday night in Manhattan Criminal Court and charged with assault, strangulation, harassment and reckless endangerment. He walked out of court after posting $20,000 cash bail.

“I have nothing to say. It’ll all come out. There are worse things in the world going on.”

His attorney told the judge Nash was innocent and the accusations stemmed from civil litigation and child support disputes with Nam.
