Another week, another Twitter beef. This one is actually interesting to me.
So remember that Forbes article that called Iggy the best female happening in hip-hop? Welp, that put rapper Iggy Azalea on the tips of everyone’s tongues recently – including K. Michelle. So Tuesday, she posted the following Tweet, seemingly aimed at Iggy and blogger Perez Hilton responded ASAP (no pun intended).

Help me understand why K. Michelle found the need or time to comment on a fellow artist? If she put half as much time in her career ….
Today, when you have so many different artists like Drake, Jay Z, A$AP Rocky, Eminem, Kanye West, Nas, J. Cole – all coming from different walks of life – why do we single her out? Hip hop was born for such a time as this. That type of shade was so unnecessary.
I really believe in Iggy’s talent. This girl is one to watch.
