Rap Group Migos Involved in Murder?

migosInvestigators in Gwinett County, Georgia believe that a rivalry involving rap groups Migos and 2G was behind the murder of a local man.

WSB-TV Atlanta report that the victim, Paris Brown, was gunned down on June 11 outside of Venture Drive Quality Inn. Brown was believed to be a supporter of Migos. Investigators say the bullet was intended for Kiara Cephus who is affiliated with Migos. Surveillance footage shows two men walking down a corridor with guns. The men disappear for 10 seconds, in which time police suspect the shooting took place, and return into view still firing.

Cephus has been questioned about the murder, but refused to give any information to investigators. “We know he was there, however he would not cooperate with the investigation,” said Cpl. Deon Washington of the Gwinett County Police Department. Washington also added that that Cephus seemed more interested in keeping his street cred than helping police solve the murder.

The alleged battle between the two rap groups has been reportedly going on for the past six months within Gwinnett County.
