Snoop Dogg & Yo Gotti are hitting the big screen.
The two rappers will be featured in a new documentary entitled, Take Me To The River. The documentary will be narrated by Terrance Howard, as Snoop Dogg will executive produce the Martin Shore film.
Take Me To The River will be “celebrating the inter-generational and inter-racial musical influence of Memphis in the face of pervasive discrimination and segregation.”
The documentary was featured at SXSW and has received the 24 Beats Per Second Audience.
Filmmaker Martin Shore commented on his goal of the film by saying the following, “I hope it leaves a lasting impression and shows the heart and soul of the great city of Memphis and of American music.”
The film will be released September 12th 2014.
