Reps for Iggy Azalea have slammed reports that she has ever made a sex tape.
“It is categorically not Iggy Azalea in the video in question. She has never been involved in any sexually explicit recordings,” Azalea’s rep wrote in an email to HuffPost Entertainment.
The denial comes after TMZ reported that Vivid Entertainment reached out to the rapper to negotiate “what could be a multi-million dollar deal,” for a video obtained.
My two-cents: I always hesitate to post stories such as these. I feel in many instances it may be false and in those instances where it’s true it re-victimizes the woman in question. We really have to do a better job at separating the artist from reality and their job. Their job is to entertain. However, this doesn’t give us the right into the every part of their life – including their bedroom. Iggy has personally responded to the story and her words are completely on point. Iggy’s a straight shooter. I like that. No chaser.
