Well, bad news for Nicki. It seems she wasn’t given a green light to speak to students there.
“I wanted to go back to my HS and speak to the students but the new principal declined,” Nicki wrote on Twitter on Thursday (September 11). “No need for me to inspire them, I guess.”
In the past, Nicki has spoken highly of her alma mater, LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, located in New York. “It was the first time I felt like I really fit in,” she told Teen Vogue last year.
My two-cents: I predict they’ll reconsider once all the kids wake up and get word of this rejection.
