Gabrielle Union has become the latest celebrity victimized in the nude hacking scandal.
Gabby and her new husband Dwayne Wade have released a joint statement saying, “it has come to our attention that our private moments, that were shared and deleted solely between my husband and myself, have been leaked by some vultures.”
They add, “I can’t help but to be reminded that since the dawn of time women and children, specifically women of color, have been victimized, and the power over their own bodies taken from them. These atrocities against women and children continue worldwide.”
“For anyone out there also being affected by these and other hacking and hate crimes – We send our love, support and prayers. We have done nothing wrong.” (Very important to say)
Now referred to as “The Fappening,” the FBI is supposedly currently investigating the incidents.
My two-cents: SMH. This is such a violation. It bothers me to my core. Who would do something like this? And everyone posts this throughout the net like its a game. Where is the humanity? If you are successful enough to become a world class actress or singer are your rights as a person somehow null and void? What about people’s families – their spouses, their kids? I’m willing to guarantee that most people with iPhones had no idea their phones were even backing up to iCloud. Shit, I still don’t know how iCloud works. Trust me when I say this will become a law real quick. I just hope no other people are victimized in the meantime.
