DC, Oregon and Alaska Legalize Marijuana

wiz_weedHeads got the green light to now use the green in Washington D.C., Oregon and Alaska.

After Tuesday’s (Nov 4) vote, Oregon has legalized the recreational use of marijuana, including personal possession of up to eight ounces for people over 21 years of age. The state will also explore commercial laws to regulate sales, production and distribution.

Meanwhile, D.C. has legalized the possession of marijuana of up to two ounces for those 21 and over, as well as growing up to six cannabis plants in your home.

In Alaska, up to one ounce of possession was legalized.

Currently, medical marijuana is legal in 23 states.
