After allegations of rape resurfaced, NBC has dropped a new Bill Cosby sitcom. Netflix postpones comedy special. TV Land pulled its reruns. This is no longer a game.
Bill has also canceled scheduled talk show appearances with David Letterman and Queen Latifah.
Even past actors Bill has worked have been impacted. Raven-Symoné, who played his step-granddaughter Olivia, has chimed in.
“I was NOT (taken) advantage of by Mr. Cosby when I was on the Cosby Show!” she said via Instagram. “I was practically a baby on that show and this is truly a disgusting rumor that I want no part of!
“Everyone on that show treated me with nothing but kindness. Now keep me out of this!”
Despite several opportunities, has declined to make any public comment about the charges against him.
The swirl of allegations has not yet affected his stand up dates.
He is slated for 35 North American concert dates through May 2015, with no cancelations so far.
