Looks like Ty Dolla $ign is spilling some tea.
Who knew he and Kanye even knew one another let alone work together, but that’s just what he’s spilling tea on in a new Billboard article.
According to Ty, he and Ye recorded roughly nine songs in the span of two days – including “Only One,” on which he sings background vocals. “Only You” is an ode to his daughter, North West, that dropped just before the stroke of midnight on New Year’s Eve. The track is sung from the perspective of West’s late mother Dr. Donda West.
In the first of a two-part interview with Billboard, Ty also mentions that he also worked on a new collaboration with Rihanna and Paul McCartney.
Hmmmm …. another unlikely pairing.
