WATCH: Big Sean’s Dark Sky Paradise Trailer

big-sean-dark-sky-paradise-coverGet ready… Big Sean’s third solo album, Dark Sky Paradise, is dropping February 24.

The album was recorded mostly at Sean’s home studio in Los Angeles, Complex magazine reports in its new cover story on Sean. The mag says the new album chronicles his recent highs and lows and is his most personal album to date. On the album title he says, “There were a lot of thunderstorms in my life. A lot of rumbling, a lot of lightning. Then sunshine came.”

He even discusses the accusation that he stole his ex fiance Naya Rivera’s Rolex.

“First of all, why would I have to steal a Rolex?” Sean said. “Second of all, every Rolex that I have, I have receipts for, papers for, certificates of authenticity for. I would never steal a Rolex from anybody. You see that Tweet got deleted in like 20 seconds.”

Rivera’s public announcement was unnecessary but not shocking, he went on to say. “Even though I didn’t steal anything, I wasn’t surprised by it.”

Despite it all, Sean is patiently waiting to drop his album. Look for appearances from Drake, Jhene Aiko, Kanye West, Travi$ Scott and DJ Mustard.

To hold us over, he took to Twitter to let us know he’s dropping a new track this week.
