Well according to Timbaland, his new artist Tink is “the one.”
During The Fader Fort show at SXSW, Tim revealed the late Aaliyah spoke to him and told him the Chicago MC is official. Following a performance of Aaliyah’s “One In A Million,” by Tink, which is rare, he shared his experience with the crowd.
“I don’t touch any of my sister’s records. I don’t touch Baby Girl’s records—you know that’s Aaliyah,” Timbaland said after Tink performed the song.
“I was riding home one day, sleep. She spoke to me in my sleep and said, ‘She’s the one,’” he added pointing at Tink.
Timbo signed Tink to his label Mosley Music Group in 2014. Since then she has been busy working on her debut and dropping looseys such as “Room 302″ with Future Brown, “Tell The Children,” “Around The Clock” and “Movin’ Bass.”
