This week word broke that SoundCloud would only survive for 50 days before shutting down, following news last week that 40% of its employees had been laid-off. Enter Chance the Rapper who clearly caught wind and tweeted on Thursday (Jul. 13) “I’m working on the SoundCloud thing.” By Friday (Jul. 14), Chance provided an update tweeting “Just had a very fruitful call with Alex Ljung,” referring to SoundCloud creator Alexander Ljung.
And to let you know its real he dropped new music on the streaming service “Big Bs” featuring Young Thug.
