Did Future Take a Jab at Drake?

futureSay it ain’t so….Well I guess he is denying it, but it’s still an interesting blurb.

In a recent interview, Billboard magazine posted today that Future described his upcoming project as an upgrade in “emotion” from Drake’s album Nothing Was The Same.

Honest isn’t only about love, but ‘about showing emotion,'” he says. “Drake made an album that is full of hits but it doesn’t grab you. They’re not possessive; they don’t make you feel the way I do. I want to make you want to fall in love.”

(My eyebrows just shot up)  Isn’t he going on tour with Drake?  Never bite the hand that feeds you.  Do I even need to address the fact that he’s been referred to as T-Pain 2.0?  Nah, I’ll leave that alone – especially since he’s denying the quote and most importantly Billboard has now removed the quote.

Surprisingly, due to the rescheduling of Drake’s Would You Like A Tour? – that Future’s opening for — and upcoming TV appearances, Honest has been delayed for release early 2014. But please know friends, it is not because the market is currently saturated with good music.

According to Future, “I’ve been on the songs of all these rappers that put out an album, and my music is still better.”

SMH… That’s too easy.  I’m going to leave that comment alone.
