Nipsey Hussle Gets Support from Jay Z

nipWell if you’re looking for new music, apparently Nipsey Hussle is worth the money – or at least Jay Z thought so.

The LA rapper released his Crenshaw CD on Tuesday at a whopping price of $100 plus a free concert ticket. Nipsey sold the CDs at a pop-up show as part of his “Proud2Pay” campaign. Only 1,000 CDs were pressed.

Turns out one of his biggest supports was Jay Z. Apparently Hov was so moved by Nip’s campaign that he reportedly purchased 100 copies of Crenshaw. He posted the above pic on his Life+Times website and came with the hashtag #NewRules. Nip also posted a wire transfer statement from S Carter Enterprises on Instagram as proof of Hov’s purchase.

Supposedly Nip has since met his goal and sold all 1,000 copies of his CD, which boasts features from Rick Ross, Dom Kennedy, Z-Ro and Slim Thug.
