Sexual assault charges previously submitted against Cee-Lo Green are being re-investigated.
A Los Angeles woman accused Cee-Lo of spiking her drink after meeting him last year at a sushi restaurant. The unidentified woman alleged the “next thing” she remembered was waking up in a bedroom naked with Cee-Lo.
The case was initially submitted to the L.A. County District Attorney, but was shot down due to lack of evidence. Police now have been in the middle of re-investigating — including ordering up more toxicology tests and looking for more witnesses — and are expected to resubmit findings to the D.A. within the next couple of days.
A lawyer for Cee-Lo previously said the woman only went to police after hiring a civil lawyer and getting shot down in her request for money.
