I hear that Rihanna may have found new digs.
According to word on the street, she’ll be renting a penthouse on the rapidly transforming border of Soho and Chinatown.
The four-bedroom, three-and-a-half bath duplex on the 11th and 12th floors includes a wraparound 2,400-square-foot terrace with killer views of Soho and the World Trade Center.
The pad went on the market in April with a $14.6 million asking price — but a source revealed that Rihanna is renting instead for $39,000 a month after seeing the duplex during a visit to town for Fashion Week last month.
The full-service 27-unit building has a full-time doorman — who should be more than capable of keeping out stalkers that riddled her L.A. home in recent months.
The condo features high-end fixtures, a Viking range, a Sub-Zero refrigerator and wine cooler, Kohler fixtures and a full media room with a bar. The master suite has a 156-square-foot walk-in closet and a bathroom with a six-foot tub in front of a huge window with views of the Empire State Building.
