Nicki Minaj’s brother Jelani Maraj was reportedly indicted.
Back in December Jelani was arrested on a first degree rape charge for assaulting a 12-year-old girl. The next day, he was bailed out of jail, and not much came from the story until yesterday (April 19). According to published reports, Jelani was indicted by a Grand Jury in Nassau County Long Island on April 4 and could potentially face 15 years to life in prison if he’s convicted. Jelani is reportedly facing a top charge of felony predatory sexual assault against a child, as well as felony sexual conduct against a child under the age of 13, and endangering the welfare of a child.
According to the report, Jelani was in court on Tuesday, where he pled not guilty and was released on $100,000 bond.
